Fair, transparent billing.
How deposits, milestones and cancellations are generally handled for Elderz Hub project engagements.

1. Scope
This policy describes how refunds and cancellations are generally handled for paid project engagements with Elderz Hub. It supplements — and does not replace — the specific payment terms in your project proposal or contract, which govern if there is any conflict.
2. Deposits and milestone payments
Projects are typically billed against agreed milestones or a deposit followed by staged payments. Work already completed and delivered against a paid milestone is non-refundable once approved by the client, since it reflects time and resources already spent.
3. Cancelling a project
If a client cancels a project before a milestone is completed, Elderz Hub will invoice for work actually performed up to the cancellation date, on a pro-rata basis, and refund any unearned balance already paid.
4. Third-party and pass-through costs
Costs paid on your behalf to third parties (for example domain names, hosting, or software licenses) are generally non-refundable once purchased, as they are subject to that provider's own terms.
5. Quality issues
If delivered work does not meet the agreed specification, please tell us — we'll work with you to correct it. Refund requests on quality grounds are considered case by case, based on the specific project agreement.
6. How to request a refund
Send a written request through our Contact page, referencing your project or invoice. We aim to respond within a reasonable business timeframe.
